Certification

This unit will be assessed by a multiple choice online test covering the underpinning knowledge relating to the content and application of BS 7671. This must be taken at an accredited test centre. The cost of this test is included in the course fee.

Duration

Approximately 6 hours. The length of time taken depends entirely on how quickly you can study and absorb the material. You can proceed as quickly or slowly as you like, and there is no limit on how long you can take to do the course.

 

Target Audience

This saver package is primarily aimed at practicing electricians who are required to complete their 17th Edition qualification and who are looking to complete further qualifications in renewable energy technologies without spending 2 days in the classroom.

 

Entry Requirements

There are no formal entry requirements for candidates undertaking this qualification. However, centres must ensure that candidates have the potential and opportunity to successfully gain the qualification. It is expected that candidates will have basic knowledge of electrical science.
